To the owners of this cottage, the most important feature was the view.
Fabrics were selected to be calm, neutral and durable—no distractions from the natural color outside the window. Furniture was chosen to be comfortable for lazy weekend naps in addition to ample seating for entertaining and enjoying the outside.
From the get-go, the homeowner fell in love with the colorful Pierre Frey grasscloth which anchored the bar off the dining room—the rest of the house fell in to place around it. The eclectic mix of family antiques and art from travels world wide gives a simple seaside cottage sophistication.
